Job Responsibilities
- Executes creative software solutions with ability to think beyond routine approaches to build or breakdown technical problems.
- Develops secure production code and reviews/debugs code written by others.
- Drives team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
- Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including automation capabilities.
- Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues.
- Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams for architectural designs.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training/certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
- Proficiency in back-end technologies (Java, Springboot, Node.js) with microservices experience; front-end proficiency for full-stack roles.
- Demonstrated ability to independently solve design challenges with minimal supervision.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), distributed systems, RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and JSON.
- Hands-on experience designing scalable applications using SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum) and software development life cycle.
