Lead Software Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer with Java expertise to join our agile development team in Gurgaon. You will be instrumental in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, architecture, development, testing, and operations. Your role will involve building scalable, cutting-edge systems by writing clean and efficient code, and pushing the boundaries of design and architecture for new product development. Collaboration with product managers and stakeholders across the MakeMyTrip family is key to successful project execution. You will also ensure adherence to build/release and configuration management processes.

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of Agile Methodologies, Object-Oriented Programming, and Responsive Design.
• Proven hands-on experience with the Java/J2EE stack, including cross-browser/platform development.
• Ability to thrive in complex environments and collaborate effectively to meet tight deadlines.
• 4-7 years of experience in building technology products.
• Experience in a product or startup company is highly valued.
