Lead Software Engineer

Role Overview
We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our Commercial & Investment Technology's Cash Prime Technology team in Mumbai. As an integral part of an agile squad, you will enhance and deliver trusted, market-leading technology products that support the firm's strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and executing creative software solutions across multiple technical areas with a focus on breaking down complex problems.
• Led development of micro-front-end based micro-services using advanced Java concepts (collections, garbage collection, multi-threading).
• Pioneering the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed while maintaining strict security standards.
• Creating automated unit tests via Test Driven Development (TDD) and managing Unit, SIT & UAT testing cycles.
• Analyzing and building robust systems within Control, Stability, Resiliency, Capacity, and Performance areas for clearing and settlements functions.
• Solidifying understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD pipelines and security protocols to deliver zero-tolerance production code.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Expert proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, React JS, Kafka, AWS Cloud, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Demonstrated leadership in implementing responsible AI tools for coding reviews and test acceleration within secure workflows.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address large-scale organizational challenges and end-to-end solution design.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, DevOps methodologies, SWIFT payment processing, and ISO20022 standards.
