Lead Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer for a full-time remote position at Cyberlop Labs to drive the design, development, and optimization of core application security testing features. This role leads technical direction on back-end services and distributed systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and secure integration with customer environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecting and reviewing system components for scalability and security.
• Writing production-quality code in a remote-first setting.
• Performing rigorous code reviews and guiding implementation best practices.
• Collaborating with product, security, and operations teams to translate complex requirements into robust solutions.
• Mentoring engineers and contributing to long-term technical roadmap decisions.

Qualifications

You will need a strong foundation in Computer Science (algorithms, data structures), proficiency in software development with production-grade delivery experience, and deep expertise in back-end web development. Knowledge of OOP principles is essential. A background in application security or secure coding practices is highly beneficial. You must be comfortable working remotely within distributed teams.
