We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to drive the implementation and optimization of cash management solutions for our banking clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements for critical modules including payment processing, collections, liquidity pooling, and treasury operations.
- Process Mapping & Optimization: Design comprehensive process flow diagrams for end-to-end cash management cycles. Identify operational gaps and propose actionable improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure seamless integration of new processes with existing banking workflows.
- TMS Configuration & Testing: Lead the configuration, deployment, and validation of Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or core banking platforms. Actively participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee solution alignment with business needs.
- Conduct rigorous testing protocols to ensure data integrity across SWIFT, ACH, SEPA, and real-time payment networks.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Perform deep-dive analysis on high-volume transaction datasets. Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process automation that drive operational excellence.
- Utilize SQL and advanced Excel techniques to manipulate large datasets effectively.
- Client Support & Engagement: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for resolving day-to-day functional issues. Ensure smooth project transitions and continuous delivery of high-quality cash management services.
- Foster strong client relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Author comprehensive Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), user manuals, and training materials. Equip internal teams and clients with the knowledge needed for successful system adoption.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation to support ongoing project scalability.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Banking and Financial Services, with a specific focus on Cash Management, Payments, or Treasury operations.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering complex financial solutions.
- Domain Knowledge: Possess expert-level understanding of international payment messaging standards (ISO 20022, SWIFT), liquidity management strategies, and reconciliation processes.
- Stay current with emerging trends in global trade finance and digital payments.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate familiarity with modern Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or banking ERP modules. Strong skills in SQL for database querying and advanced Excel for data analysis are highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technology stacks as industry standards evolve.
- Communication & Documentation: Exhibit exceptional ability to document intricate workflows and translate complex business needs into clear, actionable functional requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Craft concise reports that bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative Mindset: Display a proven ability to thrive in cross-functional teams. Support senior consultants and leads by contributing innovative ideas and reliable execution.
- Foster an environment of knowledge sharing and mutual growth within the team.
- Education: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Information Technology. Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
