Full Job Description
As a Lead Software Engineer within JPMorgan Chase's CDAO division in Hyderabad, you will be a key member of an agile team dedicated to enhancing, building, and delivering trusted, market-leading technology products securely, stably, and scalably. Your contributions will drive significant business impact, utilizing deep technical expertise and problem-solving skills to address diverse challenges across multiple technologies and applications. Responsibilities include providing technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors; developing and reviewing secure, high-quality production code; driving decisions impacting product design, application functionality, and technical operations; serving as a subject matter expert in specific technical areas; advocating for firmwide frameworks, tools, and Software Development Life Cycle practices; influencing the adoption of cutting-edge technologies; and fostering a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Requirements:
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with Python coding and REST APIs.
- Experience in cloud solution development and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Proficiency in managing the Databricks platform for Data, AI, and ML workloads.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Overall understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Solid grasp of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a specific technical discipline (e.g., cloud, AI, ML, mobile).
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- Familiarity with Spark and Infrastructure Observability.
- Preferred experience with SCIM and SSO integrations.
- Exposure to cloud technologies.
