Lead Software Engineer (C++) - Chennai, India

We are searching for a proven Lead Software Engineer to join our Desktop Experience team in Chennai. You will drive the development of next-generation software for creativity and productivity peripherals using modern C++, serving as the primary technical authority for complex projects.

• Architect and Drive Technical Solutions: Spearhead end-to-end design and development, taking ownership of architectural choices across Mac and Windows platforms. Lead engineering initiatives for mice, keyboards, presenters, and webcams. Mentor teams on code reviews and professional growth.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the central technical liaison with Product Management, Firmware, QA, and Design. Drive effective software-firmware interface design discussions to ensure robust integration and resolve complex issues across stakeholders.
• Technical Governance & Agile Leadership: Chair technical reviews for system designs, uphold standards for reusable code, guide scrum processes, promote team health, and foster an environment where innovation translates quickly into production features.

Required Skills:
- 8+ years of progressive software development with recent leadership experience.
- Expert-level C/C++ (C++14/17) for Mac and Windows desktop applications, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Deep domain expertise in Human Interface Device (HID) protocols and MacOS compatibility.
Education:
B.E. or M.Tech/MS in Computer Science, IT, or related field; industry equivalence considered.

Interview Process
