Lead Software Engineer

Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Java Developer Lead (Lead Software Engineer) for Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This role combines hands-on engineering with team leadership, overseeing a squad of developers while actively contributing to architecture and technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tech Leadership: Architect Java-based microservices using Spring Boot; enforce standards via code reviews; drive modernization on AWS/Azure/GCP with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Team Management: Mentor developers, conduct 1:1s, lead Agile ceremonies (Scrum), and manage hiring/onboarding for a team of 4–8 engineers.
• Development & Delivery: Build RESTful APIs using Kafka/RabbitMQ; optimize SQL/NoSQL performance; implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins/GitLab.

Mandatory Qualifications (8+ Years):

• Bachelor's Degree in CS or related field.
• Expertise in Java 17+, OOP, Multithreading, JVM Tuning.
• Framwork mastery: Spring Boot/Security/JPA/Hibernate.
• Messaging & DBs: Apache Kafka/RabbitMQ; PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.

Preferred Skills:

• Domain experience in Fintech/Payments/Banking.
• Observability (Prometheus/Grafana) and IaC (Terraform).
• Cloud Certifications (AWS/Azure).
