Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to all software development phases: design, architecture, development, documentation, testing, and operations.
• Develop scalable, cutting-edge systems with clean, efficient code.
• Innovate on design and architecture for new product development.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders across the MakeMyTrip group to deliver projects successfully.
• Ensure adherence to build/release and configuration management processes.
• Maintain the application back-end systems.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, object-oriented programming, and responsive design principles.
• Proficiency in Golang or Java, with experience developing across multiple browsers and platforms.
• Hands-on experience with both relational (MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Ability to thrive in complex environments and collaborate effectively to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in a product-centric or startup company is a plus.
