Full Job Description
- Required Skills:
- Languages & Frameworks: Python (Django, Flask), TypeScript/JavaScript (React, Angular)
- AI/LLM Tech Stack: Agentic AI, Generative AI (Gen AI), Guardrails, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AWS Bedrock
- Agent Development: Experience with Strands Agent SDK, AWS Bedrock AgentCore, LiteLLM, and comparable agent runtime frameworks is essential. Proficiency in building MCP servers or tool-calling integrations using FastMCP or similar.
- Evaluation & Observability: Hands-on experience with agent evaluation (DeepEval, Guardrails AI), LLM observability tools (Arize Phoenix, Langfuse, OpenTelemetry), and token metering strategies.
- Frontend Visualization: Familiarity with React Flow (xyflow) for workflow visualization, CodeMirror for in-browser editors, and implementing declarative UI/SSE event streaming.
- Mobile Development: Experience building mobile applications using Expo / React Native.
- A2A & Orchestration: Knowledge of the A2A (Agent-to-Agent) protocol, cross-account AWS agent execution patterns, and orchestration via Step Functions or EventBridge.
- Data Stack: Working knowledge of Neo4j graph databases, Trino, Databricks, and Vertex AI RAG integrations.
- Digital Platform Experience: Background in building platforms for privacy-safe Customer Data Platforms (CDP) or marketing technology environments.
- DevOps & Workflow: Proficiency with GoCD pipelines, Husky pre-commit hooks, Orval OpenAPI code generation, and monorepo development workflows.
- Specialisation Tracks (Choose one):
- Platform Backend: Django applications, REST/GraphQL APIs, Celery task queues, PostgreSQL database management with tenant isolation strategies, and publishing workflow automation.
- Agent Runtime & AI Core: Deep expertise in the Agent Strands SDK, AWS Bedrock infrastructure, MCP standards, RAG implementation, evaluation frameworks, streaming protocols, and performance optimisation for AI agents.
- Frontend / UX Engineering: Building responsive React applications using shadcn/ui components, designing workflow editors, implementing SSE (Server-Sent Events) streaming, and creating type-safe API clients.
- Mobile Companion Apps: Developing native-feeling mobile experiences with Expo or React Native to complement the core platform features.
- Platform & Infrastructure Engineering: Managing infrastructure via Terraform, deploying on AWS ECS clusters, setting up comprehensive observability solutions, configuring CI/CD pipelines, and managing cross-account AWS architectures.
