Lead Software Engineer - Build a SaaS Product from Scratch
Anakin is seeking a driven Lead Software Engineer to own critical problem statements and develop solutions that drive our productization efforts. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about automating workflows for maximum efficiency and mentoring fellow engineers. Responsibilities:
- Analyze team's technical requirements and architect scalable solutions aligned with Anakin's product vision.
- Guide engineers through the complete solution lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of components and subsystems, from initial design to post-deployment enhancements.
- Champion best engineering practices for code refactoring and modularization.
- Contribute to the design and development of new features and products for our pricing solutions.
- Ensure adherence to robust engineering processes and maintain high product quality standards.
- Manage engineering projects from inception through to successful completion.
- Analyze data and performance metrics to identify and implement areas for improvement.
- Provide technical leadership and direction to the engineering team.
- Conduct thorough code and design reviews, offering constructive feedback to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Create clear and concise documentation to facilitate rapid onboarding and task completion for other engineers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 6+ years of professional engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a mentorship or leadership capacity.
- Proven ability to take end-to-end ownership of features from requirement gathering to release.
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for tackling complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in system design and architecture.
