Lead Security Operations Analyst

The Lead Security Operations Analyst role at Smarsh is pivotal in the Security Operations Center (SOC), where you’ll lead incident analysis, coordinate escalated security events, and mentor analysts. Your responsibilities include conducting in-depth investigations, developing incident response plans, and proactively hunting for threats using SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, and other security tools. You’ll perform forensic analysis across computers, cloud, networks, and mobile devices, ensuring compliance with security policies. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems, refine security architectures, and stay ahead of emerging threats. This role requires 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, GCIH), and strong leadership in a 24/7 on-call environment.
