About the Role

Join an elite cybersecurity team at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity & Technology Controls division. As a Lead Security Engineer focusing on Infrastructure and Hardware Security Modules (HSM), you will safeguard critical payment networks and cryptographic operations, driving innovation in secure infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• HSM Architecture: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable HSM solutions supporting global payment systems using Thales and FutureX platforms.
• Lifecycle Management: Manage full lifecycle operations including deployment, configuration, integration, upgrades, and consolidation while ensuring business continuity.
• Collaboration & Standards: Define infrastructure standards, security controls, and best practices in alignment with firm-wide policies and industry regulations (PCI-DSS, FIPS).
• Operational Excellence: Develop comprehensive architectural diagrams, documentation, and runbooks to support knowledge continuity.
• Cryptographic Security: Provide expert guidance on key management, secure storage, confidential computing, and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues with root cause analysis.
• Risk & Compliance: Participate in risk assessments, audits, incident response activities, and apply domain knowledge of payment processes to resiliency strategies.
• Augmented Workflows: Leverage enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for threat modeling and vulnerability synthesis while maintaining rigorous validation habits regarding data sensitivity and auditability.
