Lead Python with AI Engineer

About the Role

The POD Lead owns end-to-end delivery of AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for clients. You will design solution architectures, lead a pod of three FDEs, and serve as the main technical face to client business and IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the pod team: plan sprints, assign work, review code, and unblock developers.
• Translate client business problems into technical solution designs and delivery plans.
• Architect AI solutions on GCP, including GenAI, LLMs (Gemini), agent-based workflows, voice/document management (speech-to-text, TTS, OCR).
• Own production quality: debugging complex issues, root-cause analysis, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Manage scope, timelines, risks, and escalations with clients and internal leadership.
• Mentor Senior and Junior FDEs while setting coding and documentation standards.

Required Skills:

GCP Stack: Vertex AI, Cloud Run, Functions, BigQuery, Storage, Pub/Sub.
Python: Expert level in FastAPI/Flask, async processing, testing.
AI: GenAI, LLMs (RAG), agent frameworks.
DSA & Architecture: Trees, Graphs, Heaps, Microservices, scalability optimization.
