Lead – PMIC Analog Design Engineer
Full Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Lead PMIC Analog Design Engineer to lead the design and development of analog/power-management circuits from architecture through silicon. This role involves end-to-end ownership, including system understanding, architectural definition, circuit design, simulation, layout interaction, post-layout optimization, and silicon bring-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead transistor-level design of PMIC analog blocks (LDOs, bandgaps, references, amplifiers, bias circuits, POR, charge pumps) from specification to silicon.
- Design and optimize circuits across PVT, Monte Carlo, mismatch, and post-layout corners.
- Drive schematic design, simulations, layout reviews, and post-layout verification.
- Support silicon bring-up, characterization, and debug processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous design reviews.
- Collaborate with system, layout, verification, and application teams to ensure customer success.
RRequirements
Experience: 5–8 years in Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design (PMIC preferred).
Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of CMOS analog circuit design, feedback stability, noise analysis, matching, and PVT effects.
Tools: Hands-on experience with Cadence Virtuoso/Spectre or equivalent EDA tools.
Layout Knowledge: Good understanding of analog layout practices and parasitic extraction/management.
Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, sense of ownership, and resilience in debugging silicon issues.
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience with BCD/HV CMOS processes.
Industries: Automotive/Industrial PMIC experience.
Skillset: Silicon debug and reliability knowledge.
