About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Palantir Data Software Engineer to drive transformative data initiatives within the Insurance sector. This position is designed for professionals who excel in complex big data environments, leveraging Palantir Foundry and advanced technologies to build scalable analytics solutions that empower critical business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage sophisticated data pipelines and analytics frameworks tailored to challenges in the Insurance domain.
• Develop high-performance workflows using Python and PySpark to process massive datasets efficiently.
• Optimize SQL queries and Spark SQL operations for advanced data manipulation and reporting.
• Architect robust data warehousing solutions utilizing ELT techniques and distributed computing architectures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical strategies with organizational goals, applying Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Leverage Palantir Foundry for end-to-end data transformation, visualization, and integration needs.
• Troubleshoot complex issues to ensure solution reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Mentor team members and foster a culture of technical excellence in a global, multicultural environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
• 9–12 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years focused on large-scale distributed computing systems.
• Minimum 6 months of hands-on development using Palantir Foundry.
• Expert proficiency in Python and PySpark for pipeline construction and optimization.
• Strong command of SQL and Spark SQL for advanced querying.
• In-depth knowledge of data warehousing principles, ELT patterns, and distributed systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
