Lead Next JS Developer

You will work as a Technical Lead for Next.js development, collaborating with frontend, backend, Sitecore, DevOps, and product teams to ensure quality, performance, security, and operational health.

• Technical Leadership: Document architectural decisions, conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and establish engineering best practices.
• Project Setup & Configuration:
- Lead the setup of a Next.js TypeScript project with Sitecore JSS (React).
- Integrate SSR, SSG, and ISG for optimal performance.
- Configure build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and development environments.

• Frontend Development:
- Build dynamic UIs using React, TypeScript, SCSS, and Sitecore JSS with seamless Experience Editor integration.
- Implement reusable components, hooks, and state management libraries (Redux/Zustand).

• Testing & QA:
- Write unit tests using Jest for code quality.
- Perform end-to-end testing for UI and API integrations.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive coverage.

• Performance & Security:
- Optimize performance via Next.js best practices (code-splitting, lazy-loading).
- Implement robust Content Security Policy (CSP) for client-side rendering security.
- Enhance SEO using SSR/SSG techniques.

• Collaboration:
- Integrate with backend developers and UI/UX designers in an Agile environment. Participate in code reviews.

Core Technologies: 6-8 years experience required (React, Next.js, TypeScript, SCSS). Strong knowledge of Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR), and Next.js architecture including routing, caching/revalidation, middleware, authentication, and deployment.

• Create seamless, editable components.
• Integrate with the Experience Editor for real-time content editing.

Testing: Proficiency in Jest (Unit Testing) and familiarity with TDD practices are required. Nice to have: Cypress or Enzyme.
