Lead Network Reliability Engineer

Zenoti is seeking a Lead Network Reliability Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This role is crucial for owning and driving cloud security projects, ensuring the design, implementation, and optimization of Zenoti’s security infrastructure within our distributed, high-traffic SaaS environment.

Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and enforcing robust cloud security policies, standards, and procedures covering account and tenant management, firewalls, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), encryption, and incident response. You will conduct readiness assessments for new cloud platforms and tools, ensuring scalability, compliance, and risk mitigation before adoption. A key part of this role is ensuring continuous alignment with critical compliance standards such as SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA. You will serve as a subject matter expert in cloud security, collaborating closely with engineering, platform, and InfoSec teams. Staying ahead of cloud-native security technologies to enhance availability, latency, and resilience is also a core function. The position requires delivering high-quality, production-ready solutions with comprehensive documentation and peer review.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing infrastructure on the Microsoft stack, with deep expertise in Azure/AWS security. Strong practical skills in cloud security and networking are essential, including IPSec, firewall management, TLS/SSL, Identity and Access Management (IAM), endpoint security, SIEM, and threat analysis. Proven Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience in production environments, preferably with Terraform, is required; ARM/Bicep/Ansible skills are a plus. The ability to debug and secure infrastructure across Windows and Linux operating systems is necessary. Experience with enterprise-grade security controls such as endpoint protection, patching, antivirus, and web filtering is expected. A solid understanding of audit and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA) is crucial. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to influence through technical expertise and clear communication are highly valued. This role thrives in a fast-paced, scaling SaaS startup environment.
