Lead Info Security Analyst

As a Lead Information Security Analyst in Chennai, India, you will be instrumental in conducting comprehensive Security Risk Assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls, identify potential risks, and pinpoint control gaps. This role provides independent assurance to leadership regarding the organization's security posture. You will foster collaboration across IT and non-IT departments, promoting a risk-aware operational environment.

Key responsibilities include performing Information Security Assessments on vendors who handle UPS or UPS Customer Data, utilizing industry-standard frameworks such as SIG, CAIQ, NIST 800:53, or ISO27001. You will also lead negotiations with vendors to finalize Information Security Agreements.

Furthermore, you will respond to Customer RFPs concerning Information Security, offer Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for Customer Assurance Audits representing UPS's interests, and review standard Information Security clauses within customer agreements.

This position requires collaboration with teams like Privacy and Aviation to ensure accurate responses to Information Security and Cyber Security compliance questionnaires from regulators.

You will lead and mentor a team of Analysts and Associates, guiding their development to enhance their skill sets and knowledge. The role demands the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and cyber/privacy regulations is essential. You will serve as a trusted advisor to IT, Privacy, and other business teams, contributing to a secure and compliant operational landscape.
