Lead GCP Data Engineer

Aliqan Technologies is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead GCP Data Engineer to join their dynamic team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, NCR. This is an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions on the Google Cloud Platform.

Role Overview

As a Lead GCP Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in building and enhancing data pipelines and warehousing solutions. You'll leverage your expertise in BigQuery, Dataflow, PySpark, SQL, and Airflow/Cloud Composer to drive data-driven innovation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines and data warehousing solutions.
• Implement ETL processes and manage distributed data processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data engineering challenges.

Required Qualifications

• 5-10 years of comprehensive experience in Data Engineering.
• Proven, hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including:
• BigQuery
• Dataflow
• PySpark
• SQL
• Airflow / Cloud Composer
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts and distributed data processing.
• Proficiency in Python scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD and version control tools is advantageous.
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities.

Preferred Skills

• GCP Certification is a plus.
• Experience with real-time streaming pipelines is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Employment Details

This role is available as a Contract or Full-Time position, with a hybrid remote work arrangement in Noida.
