Role Overview

Join Optum as a Lead Full Stack Engineer in Pune to lead the design and delivery of scalable enterprise web applications. You will leverage AI-assisted tools, drive Java modernization (upgrading to Java 21), optimize micro-frontend architectures with React/Vite, and manage cloud-native deployments using Kubernetes and Terraform.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools for workflow automation and continuous improvement.
• Design backend services using Spring Boot, WebFlux, GraphQL, and RESTful APIs.
• Lead frontend development with React, Vite, and modular micro-frontend strategies.
• Modernize legacy systems to Java 21 and implement reactive programming models.
• Optimize performance via Redis caching, database tuning, and Kafka event-driven architectures.
• Build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) with automated security scanning and testing.
• Mentor teams through code reviews while ensuring compliance in regulated healthcare environments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required. 6+ years full-stack experience, including 4+ in Java microservices, 3+ in React frontend development, and expertise in Docker/Kubernetes/Terraform within Agile/Scrum settings.
