Lead Frontend Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Lead Front-End Engineer to take technical ownership of the Bank's client-facing applications (Online and Mobile Banking, Onboarding) and corporate website while leading our front-end engineering teams. This role combines deep technical leadership with team responsibility.

• Act as the technical owner for Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Digital Onboarding, and the corporate website.
• Own and evolve the front-end architecture, technology roadmap, and engineering standards across web and mobile applications.
• Lead, coach, develop, and support the front-end engineering team, including capacity and resource allocation.
• Drive pragmatic technical decisions balancing client experience, delivery needs, security, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, architects, back-end engineers, and security specialists to deliver reliable digital experiences.
• Remain hands-on in solution design, architecture, code reviews, prototyping, troubleshooting, and development when required.
