Lead Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Java Developer to design and develop robust backend systems for our enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend systems using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Build high-performing RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications serving enterprise clients.
• Maintain complex enterprise applications leveraging the Spring Framework and Hibernate ORM.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, product owners, and development squads to implement business requirements.
• Participate in technical design reviews and contribute innovative solutions for system architecture.
• Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code adhering to strict engineering best practices and coding standards.
• Integrate applications seamlessly with relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL), messaging platforms like Kafka, and third-party services.
• Champion CI/CD implementation, automate deployments, and uphold DevOps excellence within the team.
• Troubleshoot complex application defects, resolve performance bottlenecks, and ensure production stability.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java (Core & SE), Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate ORM.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing RESTful APIs for large-scale enterprise applications.
• In-depth understanding of microservices architecture patterns and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Proven experience working with Kafka or other event-driven messaging platforms to build resilient systems.
• Advanced database skills covering PostgreSQL, SQL optimization, and a strong preference for Oracle RDBMS environments.
• Familiarity with GitHub/GitLab for version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Solid exposure to AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda), containerization with Docker, and orchestration via Kubernetes.
• Exceptional analytical skills with a proven track record in debugging complex issues and problem-solving under pressure.
