Lead Engineer

About the Job: Contributing to product, solution, and system design and development. Includes activities related to improving technical aspects of existing products and components.

Role Autonomy & Execution:

This role enjoys a certain level of autonomy but is focused on executing activities within an operational discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some discernment may be required, generally within a given direction.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, analyze or evaluate assigned projects using reliable engineering principles while complying with commercial standards, best practices, and product/program requirements. This involves mechanical and/or electrical design for all products.
• Develop deep knowledge of a technical discipline based on prior experience and acquired expertise to implement policies and strategies.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of key operational factors to accomplish work independently.
• Understand how your team's work integrates with others within the domain. Show discernment, propose solutions outside defined parameters where appropriate, and leverage previous training to solve simple tasks using technical skills and analytical thinking.

Leadership & Collaboration

This role may be an Individual Contributor with proven interpersonal skills or a People Leader capable of hiring and developing talent. Provide informal mentoring to new team members.

Qualifications (Non-US Roles)

- Significant experience in the function and digital audio workstation station.

- Equivalent knowledge level to a license from an accredited university (or bachelor's degree with relevant experience).
