Lead Engineer

Eaton, a global intelligent power management company, is seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer with expertise in Java for their Pune, Maharashtra, India location. This role is for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, winning team environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in full-stack web development.
• 10+ years of experience in the software industry with a proven track record of delivering high-quality products.
• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise-grade, highly scalable web-based applications and/or distributed systems.
• Expert-level skills in Java (J2EE), Spring Core, Spring MVC, AJAX, and JMS.
• Hands-on expertise in deploying and managing microservices on Kubernetes and similar platforms like OpenShift and Docker Swarm.
• Skilled in containerization using Docker and setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Excellent object-oriented design and programming skills, including the use of design patterns.
• Experience with database management systems (DBMS) and ORM frameworks such as SQL Server.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
• Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities, demonstrating technical innovation and creative solutions.
• Awareness of upcoming software development/engineering tools, trends, and methodologies.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new concepts, principles, and solutions effectively.
• Possesses a good sense of diplomacy and respect for colleagues.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.

• Master's degree in Electrical/Computer/Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from an accredited institution.
