Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to enhance developer experience and system health metrics across the organization, ensuring adherence to the latest industry standards.
• Drive measurable gains in developer productivity, system reliability, observability, and deployment speed for over 35 frontend services and 100+ backend services and workers.
• Investigate and implement cutting-edge tools, including AI-driven solutions, to accelerate development cycles and automate repetitive tasks.
• Identify and address recurring engineering pain points, bottlenecks, and manual processes by designing and deploying scalable, permanent solutions.
• Tackle complex UI performance and reactivity challenges to ensure fast, consistent user experiences at scale.
• Establish and enforce robust engineering standards and best practices throughout the organization and specifically within the Revex vertical.
• Continuously optimize CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, monitoring systems, alerting mechanisms, and the overall developer workflow.
• Mentor fellow engineers, lead critical architecture discussions, perform thorough code reviews, and cultivate a culture of technical excellence and ownership.
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and security vulnerabilities within a multi-tenant architecture.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus and expertise in frontend development.
• Demonstrated experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular, and proficiency in building full-stack web applications.
• Proven experience integrating or developing AI-powered developer tools aimed at boosting productivity.
• Solid hands-on backend development experience with Node.js and cloud platforms; familiarity with Cloudflare CDN is advantageous.
• A strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, asynchronous job processing, and queuing systems.
• A successful track record of architecting complex systems and delivering scalable, high-performance web applications in production environments.
• In-depth knowledge of software design patterns, API design principles, and microservices architecture, particularly within a multi-tenant context.
• Skilled in guiding technical architecture, making impactful engineering decisions, and effectively mentoring other engineers.
• Experience with code quality methodologies, automated testing strategies, CI/CD implementation, and developer tooling optimization.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities coupled with clear and collaborative communication skills for effective cross-functional teamwork.
