Lead Engineer - Electronics

Mahindra is seeking a skilled Lead Engineer with expertise in Electronics to join our team in Chennai, India. This role is crucial for driving innovation and development within our automotive sector.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

The ideal candidate will possess a strong skill set for a Compute Vision Engineer, with a focus on the following:

Must have

• Proficiency in machine learning and Deep Learning technologies.
• Deep understanding of the mathematical foundations of ML/DL.
• Hands-on experience with Computer Vision techniques and applications.
• Working knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Solid experience in handling and processing image and video data.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Proficiency in C++ programming.
• Experience with source control systems like Git and SVN.

Good to have

• Experience working with Ubuntu operating system and AWS EC2.
• Exposure to the automotive domain is highly preferable.
• Hands-on experience with edge development boards such as Jetson Nano and Raspberry Pi.
• Familiarity with using MS Teams for collaboration.

Experience

5-10 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering (BE) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) / Master of Engineering (ME) / Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (E and I), or Automobile Engineering.
