Responsibilities and Key Deliverables
Understand project requirements as per program milestones for Automotive OEM Product development Gateway Systems. Support project delivery from kick-off to implementation, including Quality Function Deployment (QFD), benchmarking, feature analysis, engineering, drawing and model preparation and release, Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) and physical validation support, development, and implementation support. Provide CAD support for engineering proposals in consultation with internal and external experts. Release drawings and models in collaboration with system engineers. Prepare Bills of Materials. Gain exposure to global requirements for Body-in-White (BIW) engineering and design, covering body side closures, underbody, and front-end structures. Conceptualize, design, and develop BIW/closure/underbody sheet metal parts. Support the CDMM and other implementation teams for part development and quality initiatives.
