Lead Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to architect, lead, and deliver enterprise-grade Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions across web, mobile, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will drive technical design, mentor development teams, and collaborate closely with architects, product owners, DevOps, and business stakeholders to build scalable digital experiences using the Adobe Experience Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AEM solution architecture for enterprise digital platforms on AEMaaCS (Cloud Service).
• Design advanced components, editable templates, workflows, content fragments, and custom OSGi services.
• Define scalable content architectures, security models, dispatcher configurations, and multi-environment deployment strategies.
• Pioneer AI-assisted development practices using tools like Cursor IDE, GenAI coding assistants, and automated code-generation workflows.
• Optimize AEM Agents, replication strategies, cache invalidation, and publishing mechanisms for high performance.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Manager, Git) with automated quality gates, containerized deployments, and cloud infrastructure monitoring.
• Establish robust coding standards, reusable frameworks, performance tuning practices, and secure coding guidelines.
• Mentor junior/senior developers through rigorous code reviews and technical guidance sessions.
• Integrate AEM ecosystems with Adobe Analytics, Target, Campaign, REST APIs, GraphQL, and third-party enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues involving Sling, OSGi, Dispatcher, CDN, and cloud environments.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 8–12 years in software engineering with a deep focus on Java/J2EE.
  (5+ years specifically hands-on with Adobe Experience Manager).
• **Core Skills:** Mastery of AEM 6.x and AEMaaCS, including Edge Delivery Services (EDS) and headless CMS architecture.
• **Technical Depth:** Expert-level knowledge of Sling, OSGi, JCR, Oak, Dispatcher, Multi-site Manager (MSM), Workflows, and the underlying AEM Cloud Service infrastructure.
• **DevOps & Modern Tools:** Proficiency in Adobe Cloud Manager, GitHub Actions/Jenkins, SonarQube, and containerized/cloud-native deployment patterns.
  (Must have experience with AI coding assistants like Cursor or Copilot).

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating Adobe Target, Analytics, and Campaign.
  
• Familiarity with React, Angular, Next.js for SPA Editor implementations.
• Background in AI-powered development workflows and automation agents.
