Lead DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our full-time team in India. Ciklum is a custom product engineering company supporting multinational organizations and scaling startups with over 4,000 highly skilled professionals globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up dev, test, and prod environments in client AWS accounts, focusing on cloud governance, network paths, and standards.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for gateways, adapters, and supporting services using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Configure secrets management, service accounts, and credential rotation (AWS Secrets Manager/Vault).
• Implement logging, tracing, and observability baselines with correlation IDs (CloudWatch/OpenTelemetry/Datadog).
• Deploy API gateways using AWS API Gateway or Kong with vendor-neutral policies.
• Create deployment views, environment connectivity matrices, and credential requests.
• Build monitoring, alerting, runbooks, rollback plans, and operational handover packs.

Requirements

• 4+ years in DevOps or platform engineering on AWS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and VPC networking.
• Skill in managing secrets, IAM best practices, and observability tools.

Nice to Have

AWS certification or experience supporting conversational AI/contact centre platforms.
