What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with profound knowledge of Java programming, and very good knowledge of Spring/Quarkus Framework. A strong understanding of Vaadin, Jakarta EE, and proficiency with Oracle Database (SQL) are essential. The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks under pressure, and exceptional spoken and written English skills are crucial for cross-region collaboration in our multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the setup of the Indian development team, liaising with the Development Lead in Germany and Architecture to ensure project success.
• Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software packages.
• Design and refine customer requirements.
• Implement new components and processes for Pack- and Poststation systems.
• Provide support for troubleshooting and debugging to stabilize the Pack- and Poststation systems.
• Develop tests to enhance software quality.
• Provide technical leadership to the Indian backend development team.

Professional Requirements:

• A relevant university degree or equivalent vocational training with practical experience.
• Senior-level expertise and profound working experience in Java, Spring/Quarkus, and Jakarta EE.
• Good knowledge of Oracle Database (SQL), REST APIs, and GitHub Actions.
• Over 8 years of software development experience.
• Experience working in international teams, with a preference for collaboration with German teams.
