Lead Data Scientist

Innovaccer is seeking a talented Lead Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing advanced artificial intelligence initiatives to enhance patient health and wellness. You will collaborate closely with business leaders and clients to understand their challenges and design large-scale solutions. Your responsibilities will include defining the technical architecture for productizing machine-learning algorithms, taking them to market through strategic partnerships, and seamlessly integrating data science capabilities into our data platform and applications.

You will play a key role in breaking down complex business problems into machine learning challenges, designing solution workflows, and building tools to automate and accelerate the development cycle. You will also be responsible for defining and executing the quarterly roadmap, ensuring continuous improvement and the creation of market-leading solutions.

We are looking for candidates with a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred) and at least 7 years of experience in Data Science, with a preference for healthcare experience. Essential skills include strong written and spoken communication, extensive hands-on experience with Python for enterprise applications and optimization, and deep expertise in deep learning techniques, including NLP, computer vision, and state-of-the-art GenAI pipelines. Experience with agentic workflows is a plus.

Demonstrated experience in deploying deep learning models at scale in production, along with interactive improvements, is crucial, requiring hands-on expertise with frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow. A keen interest in research and staying updated with AI/ML advancements is vital. You should possess a strong understanding of classical ML techniques (Random Forests, SVM, Boosting, Bagging) and experience building training and evaluation pipelines. Experience with model explainability techniques (LIME, SHAP) and ML platforms such as Databricks, Azure ML, or Sagemaker is required. Proficiency in developing and deploying production-ready models, implementing MLOps frameworks, and a customer-focused attitude are essential.
