Your Mission: The Role
You are a hands-on solver with the mission of solving for better outcomes as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for our clients' most critical systems. You will ensure environments remain secure, reliable, and optimized around the clock, delivering measurable impact through improved uptime, faster response times, and real cost savings.
Your Responsibilities
- Own Service Reliability: Serve as the go-to technical expert for 24/7 cloud operations and incident management. Lead high-stakes troubleshooting to deliver a superior client experience while adhering strictly to SLOs.
- Engineer the Blueprint: Translate complex client needs into scalable, automated, and secure cloud architectures. Write and maintain essential operational playbooks and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules used daily by your squad.
- Automate with Intelligence: Embed AI-driven automation, predictive monitoring, and AIOps directly into core processes to eliminate toil and preempt incidents before they occur.
- Drive FinOps & Impact: Own the technical execution of the FinOps framework. Continuously analyze, configure, and optimize cloud spend for clients through rigorous hands-on engineering practices.
- Be the Expert in the Room: Share your deep expertise via internal demos, documentation, and technical deep dives to turn operational complexity into business resilience.
- Mentor & Elevate: Act as a technical mentor for peers. Through code reviews and collaborative problem-solving, build a high-performing squad living by the 'Always Hardened' mindset.
We are looking for future technology leaders who value raw intelligence over prior experience alone. We need candidates with 4+ years in GCP cloud infrastructure (with significant managed services exposure) and proven commercial acumen scaling new business units.
