Role Overview
The Cloud & Network Administrator will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining the company's internal cloud infrastructure and network systems. This role ensures high availability, security, and performance of cloud-based applications, servers, and internal IT networks while supporting business continuity and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Manage cloud environments (GCP) including provisioning, scaling, and monitoring.
- Perform regular backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Ensure cost optimization of cloud resources.
- Maintain cloud security standards and access controls.
Network Management & Maintenance
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues and minimize downtime.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain network and cloud security policies.
- Monitor for vulnerabilities, threats, and unauthorized access.
- Ensure compliance with ISO27001:2022 and other regulatory requirements.
Maintenance & Support
- Conduct routine system updates, patch management, and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain documentation of network diagrams, configurations, and cloud architecture.
- Provide technical support to internal teams for connectivity and cloud-related issues.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor system performance and generate regular health reports.
- Implement monitoring tools (Datadog, or CloudWatch).
- Suggest improvements for efficiency and scalability.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in cloud administration and network management.
- Hands-on experience with GCP (Certificate Must).
- Experience in monitoring and incident management tools.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
