Lead Business Analyst – Capital Markets (Options)

EPAM Systems is seeking a highly skilled Lead Business Analyst with a specialization in Capital Markets and Options to spearhead the success of their new Options team. This role involves close collaboration with Digital Product Managers and Product Owners to deliver high-impact solutions within the dynamic capital markets domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the Options team, ensuring alignment with the overall portfolio vision and mission.
• Collaborate with Digital Product Managers and Product Owners to clearly define objectives and gather detailed requirements.
• Facilitate effective communication and foster collaboration among multiple Product teams.
• Maintain a well-organized backlog, ensuring 2-3 Sprints of groomed stories are readily available.
• Establish and uphold clear hand-off processes and procedures across Portfolios.
• Actively participate in PI planning sessions to understand portfolio direction and team deliverables.
• Contribute valuable business and end-customer perspectives to guide product development strategy.
• Support comprehensive stakeholder management and product ownership activities.

Requirements:

• 10-14 years of progressive experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, and stakeholder management.
• In-depth knowledge of capital markets or investment banking, with a strong working understanding of options.
• Proven background in product management and the financial services industry, with a preference for wealth management experience.
• Demonstrated skills in preparing detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRD).
• Proficiency in SQL for effective database querying.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Ability to provide insightful business acumen and a keen understanding of the end-customer perspective.
