Deepmindz is seeking a skilled Lead Backend Developer with 4-6 years of experience in developing and deploying scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in Python and AI-driven solutions, a demonstrated history of success with live production projects, and strong team leadership capabilities. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of robust backend systems and APIs.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, and AI teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient workflows.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to backend developers, conduct thorough code reviews, and champion best practices.
• Assume ownership of live projects, including deployments and production support, ensuring system reliability and uptime.
• Actively participate in system design discussions, workflow optimization, and strategic technical decision-making.
• Uphold high standards of code quality, performance optimization, and overall system stability.
• Facilitate the integration of AI/ML components into our backend systems, driving innovation and advanced functionalities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4-6 years of comprehensive experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python is essential; Node.js experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working with AI/ML-based systems using Python, including integration, API development, and workflow management.
• Proven hands-on experience deploying and managing live production projects.
• Solid understanding of system design principles, architectural patterns, and backend workflows.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs and various backend frameworks.
• Familiarity with database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL, and effective data handling practices.
• Previous experience in team leadership and technical guidance roles.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both technical and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience utilizing Node.js for backend development.
• Exposure to DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.

Employment Details

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
