Lead AWS Data Engineer

About the Role

Join Techwave as a Lead AWS Data Engineer focused on Power Portfolio Management (PPM). In this role, you will own the technical build for PPM data ingestion and transformation to deliver forecast-ready datasets across medallion layers.

• Define source mappings, event schemas, and time alignment strategies using Confluent Kafka, Schema Registry, Flink, AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, S3 (Bronze/Silver/Gold), and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Coordinate interfaces with forecasting models, optimization engines, dashboards, and APIs for Power portfolio concepts including demand, generation, renewable availability, contracts, schedules, market bids, and actuals.

Technical Skills Required

Proficiency in Python, SQL, data modeling, quality frameworks, reconciliation, orchestration (batch/near-real-time), and integration with SCADA, OSI PI, ABT/MDM, SAP, GIS, SLDC/RLDC, IEX, and weather feeds.
