Abbott Laboratories in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, is seeking a Lead Analytics Developer to join their Advanced Analytics team. This role reports to the Head of AA Product Development and is instrumental in driving the company's data-driven transformation.
The primary responsibility is to develop, refine, and deliver enterprise-grade software products and applications on the AWS cloud platform. This involves leading Advanced Analytics Product initiatives, ensuring robust cloud-based product delivery, and fostering innovation to meet the business's advanced analytics needs. The Lead Analytics Developer will collaborate with data science, engineering, and product teams to translate business requirements and analytical models into tangible digital products.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the timely delivery of advanced analytics solutions aligned with business goals, defining best practices for application deployment and maintenance, and driving continuous improvement of products and the AWS cloud platform. This role has direct reporting responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 5-8 years of relevant software development experience, including a strong track record in leading complex product deliveries. Experience in full-stack development, microservices, and cloud-native applications is essential. Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, along with experience in SQL, C/C++, Scala, Docker, and Kubernetes, is required. Significant experience with AWS cloud deployments, CI/CD environments, and the ability to bridge business and data science needs are critical. Strong analytical, creative thinking, and collaboration skills are also necessary.
Additional technical skills include experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React JS), back-end frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, Node.js), database technologies (e.g., RedShift, MySQL, DynamoDB), RESTful API design, version control systems (e.g., CodeCommit), DevOps practices (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform), serverless architecture (e.g., AWS Lambda), and cloud security best practices.
