L2 Network Engineer - Chennai

We are seeking a skilled L2 Network Engineer to join our team in Chennai. This role involves the critical monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, switches, and firewalls. You will be responsible for configuring and managing Meraki and Cisco switches, collaborating with Local IT teams to resolve performance issues and ensure maximum service uptime. The position requires implementing network upgrades and changes, working closely with L1 support and other technical teams to tackle complex network challenges, and upholding network security, compliance, and industry best practices. Additionally, you will address and resolve SIP/VOIP and call center network-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure (Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls, etc.).
• Configure and manage Meraki and Cisco switches.
• Troubleshoot network issues with Local IT to ensure service uptime.
• Implement network upgrades, changes, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with L1 support and technical teams on complex network issues.
• Ensure network security, compliance, and best practices.
• Resolve SIP/VOIP related issues.
• Address call center network related issues.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in network monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in configuring Meraki and Cisco network equipment and firewalls.
• Solid understanding of network security principles and compliance.
• Familiarity with SIP/VOIP technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and teamwork capabilities.
