Kentico Developer - Softweb Solutions, Ahmedabad

Softweb Solutions is seeking a skilled Kentico Developer to join their team in Ahmedabad. This role focuses on developing and customizing Kentico CMS and Commerce features, including pages, widgets, components, workflows, promotions, and checkout processes. The ideal candidate will build and maintain robust backend services using .NET 8, leveraging ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Web API. You will implement critical commerce functionalities such as catalogs, cart management, checkout flows, pricing, and promotional strategies.

The role involves designing and optimizing MS SQL Server schemas, writing efficient queries, stored procedures, and performing performance tuning. Integration with third-party systems, including payment gateways, PIM, ERP, and search APIs, will be a key responsibility. You will also implement secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access control, adhering to best practices for security, performance, and scalability. Collaboration is essential, with participation in code reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint planning. Support for deployments and CI/CD pipelines across various environments is also expected.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Kentico Xperience CMS and Commerce.
• Proficiency in .NET 8, ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Web APIs.
• Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including indexes, execution plans, and performance optimization.
• Experience with the Kentico built-in commerce engine is essential (not purely headless implementations).
• A strong understanding of CMS content modeling, workflow management, and personalization techniques.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with headless or hybrid Kentico implementations.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
• Knowledge of search platforms such as Algolia or OpenSearch.
