Junior UIUX Developer

Werq Labs is seeking a motivated Junior UI/UX Developer to join our team in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Translate product requirements, wireframes, and UX designs into responsive and interactive user interfaces.
• Develop clean, semantic, and scalable front-end code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Implement responsive designs using Flexbox, Grid layouts, media queries, and breakpoint strategies to ensure a seamless experience across all devices.
• Collaborate closely with UX designers and product teams to thoroughly understand user journeys, storyboards, and process flows.
• Create and iterate on wireframes, prototypes, and low/high-fidelity designs using industry-standard tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
• Ensure adherence to UX principles, established design systems, and brand guidelines for consistent product presentation.
• Analyze user behavior and feedback to proactively suggest UX improvements; knowledge of heatmaps and user activity tracking is a valuable asset.
• Optimize UI performance and guarantee cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for a robust user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve common UI/UX issues encountered in live production environments.
• Actively participate in design reviews, sprint discussions, and usability evaluation sessions.
• Document UI components, key UX decisions, and front-end best practices for future reference and team knowledge sharing.

Must-Have Skills:

Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with core front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in Bootstrap, with mandatory strong knowledge of versions v3, v4 & v5.
• Good understanding of fundamental CSS concepts and best practices.
• Working knowledge of jQuery and commonly used jQuery libraries for efficient front-end development.
• Experience utilizing wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma or Adobe XD for design mockups and interactive prototypes.
• Proven ability to convert wireframes and approved designs into functional and visually appealing UI components.

UX & Design Skills:

• Conceptual and hands-on understanding of core UX principles, backed by experience on live projects.
• Ability to effectively interpret product specifications, user journeys, and intricate workflows.
• Experience in creating essential UX documentation such as storyboards, wireframes, and process flows.
• Basic understanding of user behavior analysis techniques and usability patterns; familiarity with heatmaps is a plus.
