Join Seeking Alpha as a Junior Technical Product Manager focused on AI and play a key role in shaping the future of intelligent investing tools. You will work at the intersection of AI technology, investment research, and product strategy, contributing to the development of next-generation AI features like LLM-based search assistants, content generation systems, and intelligent research tools. Your responsibilities will include translating investor needs into prompt-engineered experiences and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Management and engineering teams to define, develop, and optimize AI-powered features for investor tools.
- Design, test, and manage prompts for content generation, AI search assistants, RAG-based workflows, and agentic workflows.
- Integrate LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) into production systems alongside AI engineers and data scientists.
- Assist in implementing and managing prompt evaluation frameworks using tools such as Vellum AI, LangChain, or AWS Bedrock.
- Conduct usability tests, A/B experiments, and prompt performance evaluations with clear metrics for user satisfaction, cost, and quality.
- Contribute to roadmap and prioritization by gathering requirements from users, analysts, and internal teams.
- Stay updated on AI/LLM technology trends and financial research to drive product innovation.
- Iterate and improve AI features and interfaces based on customer feedback, analytics, and user research.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in product management, technical product roles, or AI-related product/engineering work.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and working knowledge of LLMs (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Claude, Gemini).
- A background or strong interest in equity markets, financial research, or investment tools.
- Ability to write clear product specifications and collaborate technically with developers and data teams.
- Familiarity with prompt management tools like Vellum AI, LangChain, or AWS Bedrock is a strong plus.
- Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, or similar NLP workflows is preferred.
- A data-driven mindset with comfort in experimentation, KPIs, and iterative improvement based on measurable results.
- Strong communication skills for translating complex AI/technical concepts into user-friendly features.
