Urban School Services is seeking a proactive and results-driven Junior Talent Acquisition Executive to join our growing team in Hyderabad. This full-time, in-office role involves end-to-end recruitment for our partnered schools, focusing on teacher hiring.

About Urban School: Urban School is building solutions for the education ecosystem. With the launch of the Urban Teacher App, a community and recruitment platform for teachers, we help schools streamline teacher hiring and connect them with quality educators. As we expand our school partnerships across Hyderabad, we are strengthening our Talent Acquisition team to manage recruitment operations efficiently and at scale.

Role Overview: As a Junior Talent Acquisition Executive, you will independently manage teacher hiring requirements for partnered schools. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will take ownership of the entire recruitment lifecycle, from understanding hiring mandates and sourcing profiles to coordinating interviews and ensuring timely closures. This role demands strong follow-up discipline, structured evaluation skills, and the ability to manage multiple open positions concurrently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and fulfill hiring requirements from partnered schools.
• Source and screen teacher profiles against role specifications.
• Conduct initial candidate interviews.
• Evaluate candidates on communication, subject expertise, classroom readiness, and overall fit.
• Maintain candidate trackers and hiring dashboards.
• Present shortlisted profiles to schools within stipulated timelines.
• Schedule interviews between schools and candidates.
• Follow up diligently on feedback and hiring decisions.
• Facilitate the closure of open positions.
• Ensure a positive experience for candidates and stakeholders.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in Recruitment / Talent Acquisition, with a preference for education hiring.
• Proficiency in sourcing candidates from platforms like Naukri, Indeed, and other educational hiring sites.
• Educational background in HR, MBA HR, BBA, Psychology, or related fields.
• Excellent communication skills in Telugu and English; Hindi is a plus.
• Confidence in conducting structured interviews.
• Strong evaluation, judgment, and screening abilities.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven approach.
• Ability to manage multiple recruitment roles simultaneously.
• A strong sense of ownership and a proactive follow-up mindset.
