Junior Storage Platform engineer

About This Role

Join LPL Financial in Hyderabad for a pivotal T1/T2 Storage and Backup Infrastructure Junior Engineer position. You will deliver advanced Tier 1/2 support, ensuring the reliability, security, and optimal performance of critical storage systems.

Your Core Responsibilities:

• Manage & Optimize Enterprise Solutions: Implement SAN/NAS/cloud environments, tune performance, and administer large-scale arrays (zoning, LUN provisioning).
• Safeguard Data Integrity: Administer enterprise backup software (Cohesity, Veritas NetBackup), enforce retention policies, conduct restore tests, and resolve complex failures.
• Maintain Hardware & Lifecycle Management: Perform upgrades/patching for storage hardware and OS, handle decommissioning of legacy equipment, and manage disaster recovery operations.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 3-4 years total experience required (Entry Level).
• Storage Expertise: Hands-on knowledge of NetApp, Dell, Pure Storage, Infinidat, and cloud storage.
• Backup Solutions: Proficiency with Cohesity, Rubrik, data recovery processes.
• Virtualization & Protocols: VMware vSphere or other hypervisors; Fibre Channel, NFS, SMB/CIFS, S3, iSCSI.
• Automation & Scripting: PowerShell and/or Python (1-2 years).
• System Admin: Windows/Linux/Unix environments (1-2 years).
• Ticketing Systems: ServiceNow or JIRA familiarity.
