Junior Software Engineer

Lepide is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our team in Noida, India. You will build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team. Your responsibilities include ensuring HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are valid and consistent, preparing and maintaining applications using standard development tools, and contributing to our backend data services and APIs. You will be involved in the entire web application development lifecycle, from concept to post-launch support, including refactoring and optimizing existing code for maintenance and scale. This role requires interfacing with customers and internal teams to gather requirements, developing software solutions, communicating task progress, and documenting the development process. You will also coordinate with co-developers, keep the project manager informed, and stay updated on web development trends and best practices.

Skills and Experience:

• 1-2 years of frontend development experience using Core PHP.
• Proficiency in working with MSSQL.
• Experience with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, Ajax, and RESTful APIs (any framework).
• Experience with AngularJS or ReactJS is a plus.
• Familiarity with modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.
• Understanding of REST API design and third-party API integrations.
• Knowledge of web security standards and best practices (OWASP).
• Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
• Experience with JIRA/Confluence is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills are essential.
