Junior Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior AI Engineer specializing in GenAI Application Development with 2–3 years of experience. You will collaborate with senior engineers to build practical Generative AI applications, APIs (FastAPI), RAG pipelines, and automated tests using Python.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain GenAI application components.
• Build REST APIs using FastAPI.
• Integrate with LLM APIs like OpenAI and Azure OpenAI.
• Implement basic RAG pipelines for enterprise applications including document processing, chunking, embeddings, and retrieval.
• Work with databases (SQL/PostgreSQL) to write queries and manage data.
• Containerize applications using Docker basics.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and documentation.

Must-Have Skills

Programming & Backend: Python (strong hands-on), FastAPI, REST API development, SQL.
Generative AI: Basic understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering concepts, tokens/context management, and hallucination handling.
RAG: Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation including document ingestion, chunking, vector search, and context retrieval.

Preferred Skills

We value exposure to LangChain/LangGraph, Vector databases (PostgreSQL), Azure/Azure OpenAI, Ollama, MCP protocol, React/Next.js, Redis, CI/CD pipelines, and open-source LLMs.
