Role Overview

Decorpot is seeking a Junior Software Development Engineer (Python Full-stack Developer) to join our dynamic team. You will build and maintain scalable software solutions that drive our interior design business, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Python-based software solutions.
• Gather and analyze requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Implement optimized backend services and APIs for seamless functionality.
• Manage and fine-tune PostgreSQL databases (Aurora preferred).
• Deploy and maintain applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Conduct code reviews, write comprehensive tests, and ensure high code quality.
• Debug issues promptly to ensure software stability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Tech Stack & Skills

• Languages: Python (Proficiency required).
• Fundamentals: Strong grasp of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, with knowledge of Aurora being a plus.
• Cloud: AWS services and infrastructure management.
• Frameworks: Familiarity with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Messaging/Cache: Basic understanding of Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis.
• Drawing Tools: Knowledge of SketchUp is a plus; familiarity with Canvas (preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating successful project delivery.
• Familiarity with AWS certifications is a plus.
