Full Job Description
Avua is seeking a Junior Software Developer to contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web and/or mobile applications. You will work under senior developers to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, participate in code reviews, and stay updated with emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating, testing, and maintaining web/mobile applications
- Develop and document code following best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, UI/UX, and product management
- Troubleshoot bugs and optimize application performance
- Learn and adapt to industry trends and development methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proficient in programming languages like JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#
- Experience with front-end/back-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, Django, .NET)
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and Git version control
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
