Junior QA Engineer - Core Techno Pty Ltd, Ahmedabad
Note: This position is strictly on-site at our Ahmedabad office. Remote work is not an option.
Core Techno Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Junior QA Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our growing team in Ahmedabad. This is a full-time, permanent role focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand project requirements, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Conduct thorough functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and UI testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure their proper resolution.
- Collaborate effectively with development and product teams throughout the release cycle.
- Maintain accurate QA documentation and testing reports.
Required Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Proven experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in understanding the defect lifecycle, severity, and priority.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
- Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
Good to Have:
- Exposure to test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Basic knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman.
- Fundamental understanding of SQL.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
