Job Title: Junior Python Manual Test Engineer

Job Type: Full-time

Experience Required: 2-3 Years

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of Python-based applications, including web applications, APIs, and backend systems.
• Analyze requirements, prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Execute test cases, document results, and report issues clearly.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
• Validate application data through database testing using SQL queries.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
• Apply knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies in testing activities.
• Utilize basic Python scripting for test data preparation, validation, or simple testing utilities.
• Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing as needed.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Adhere to defined testing processes, standards, and best practices.
• Communicate testing status, issues, and risks clearly to the team.
• Gain or demonstrate exposure to automation tools or frameworks like Selenium or PyTest to support testing activities.
• Develop an understanding of cloud-based applications and environments such as AWS or Azure, where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
